Volunteer with us!

Volunteer Benefits

We love our volunteers so much that we invite them to shop very first! When you volunteer 4 or more hours with our sale, you'll be invited to our special volunteer presale, before we open to the public. Volunteers who also consign will receive an additional 5% on their sold items!

What do volunteers do?

We rely on volunteers for just about everything, including but not limited to:

  • setting up the racks, tables, and displays before the sale starts
  • assisting with drop-off and inspection of merchandise
  • organizing merchandise and assisting shoppers during the sales
  • assisting in check-out and cashiering
  • sorting and organizing unsold items after the sale
  • taking down racks, tables, and displays after the sale ends

What else do I need to know?

Most volunteer shifts last 4 hours. Because they are more labor-intensive, set-up and break-down shifts are 3 hours long.

We ask that if you are pregnant or unable to lift 25 pounds, please do not sign up for a set-up or break-down shift, as they do require physical labor and some heavy lifting.

Please make arrangements for childcare, as children are not allowed to accompany you during your volunteer shift.

Please wear comfortable shoes and clothes, and bring a water bottle.

We are unable to provide meals or snacks for our volunteers, but you are welcome to bring your own food to eat during your break.

Ready to sign up?

If you've registered with us before (to volunteer, consign, join the mailing list, or sign up as a new parent), you should already have a number. Click here to sign in and select your volunteer shift(s)

If you've never registered with us, click here to sign up and receive a number. Then follow the link above to sign in and select your volunteer shift(s).

Thanks so much for your help! We couldn't do this without our wonderful volunteers!
